After flying high against Westwood on Saturday, Marquette came back down to earth. The Sentinels fell just short of the Negaunee Miners by a score of 6-5 on Monday. The Sentinels' loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.
Grace Sandstrom made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one triple and two RBI. That triple was her first of the season.
