Bartlett hadn't done well against Elgin recently (they were 1-6 in their previous seven matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Hawks' defense stepped up to hand the Maroons a 3-0 shutout. This was payback for Bartlett, who suffered a 6-1 defeat the last time these two teams met.

They hit Elgin with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Oliver Kosciolek, Ricky De Blas, and Sebastian Kopanicak.
