Soccer Game Preview: Lubbock vs. Caprock

Lubbock hasn't had much luck against Caprock recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Westerners will square off against the Longhorns at 7:00 p.m.

Lubbock can't be too happy about their upcoming road match considering what happened when they opened their season away from home back in December of 2025. They fell just short of Canyon by a score of 1-0.

Meanwhile, Caprock kept a clean sheet against El Paso on Friday. They put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 3-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for Caprock.

Lubbock suffered a grim 4-0 defeat to Caprock when the teams last played back in February of 2025. Can the Westerners avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
