Basketball Recap: Bayside Academy Takes a Loss

Bayside Academy lost against St. Paul's Episcopal back in November, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Bayside Academy Admirals took a blow against the St. Paul's Episcopal Saints, falling 68-25. While losing is never fun, the Admirals can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 235th, while the Saints are ranked 41st).

Bayside Academy has traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season. As for St. Paul's Episcopal, they pushed their record up to 12-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

Bayside Academy will head out on the road to face off against Robertsdale at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for St. Paul's Episcopal, they will square off against UMS-Wright Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. UMS-Wright Prep will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something St. Paul's Episcopal surely won't give up without a fight.
