Linganore wins going away against South Carroll

The Linganore Lancers won the last time they faced the South Carroll Cavaliers, and things went their way on Monday too. Linganore walked away with a 62-50 win over South Carroll. That 62-50 margin sets a new team best for Linganore this season.
Linganore's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Dylan Hodgson led the charge by scoring 18 points along with eight rebounds. That's the first time this season that Hodgson pulled down eight or more rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Christian Petruzzello, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 11 rebounds.
The win got Linganore back to even at 2-2. As for South Carroll, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.
Linganore won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Frederick at 7:00 p.m. on December 19th. Frederick will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak. South Carroll will finish 2023 at home by hosting Rockville at 4:30 p.m. on December 27th.
