Baseball Recap: Beyer Comes Up Short

Pacheco hit Beyer with a four-run third inning on Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Patriots fell 8-3 to the Panthers. The Patriots were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Panthers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2025.

Matthew Correia was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played.

Beyer's defeat dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Pacheco, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-4.

While Beyer had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
