Volleyball Recap: Pender Pendragons vs. Clarkson/Leigh Patriots

Pender lost against Clarkson/Leigh back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Pendragons took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Patriots.

While Pender was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-15.

Kaylee Schroeder paced Pender's offense, picking up six kills. Schroeder got some help from Hadley Walsh and her 15 assists.

Pender's defeat dropped their record down to 15-11. As for Clarkson/Leigh, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-7 record this season.

Pender didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against North Bend Central on the 18th. As for Clarkson/Leigh, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-1 defeat against Oakland-Craig on the 18th.
