Basketball Recap: Livingston Central Comes Up Short

Livingston Central lost against Madisonville-North Hopkins back in February of 2021, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Livingston Central Cardinals received a blow as they fell 80-62 to the Madisonville-North Hopkins Maroons. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Friday (58), the Cardinals still had to take the loss.

Livingston Central has also been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-19 record this season. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.8 points over those games. The victory (which was Madisonville-North Hopkins' third in a row) raised their record to 16-11.

As of now, neither Livingston Central nor Madisonville-North Hopkins have any future games scheduled.
