Basketball Game Preview: Bellingham Bayhawks vs. Meridian Trojans

Bellingham is 0-10 against Meridian since December of 2014 but things could change on Friday. The Bellingham Bayhawks will head out to face off against the Meridian Trojans at 7:15 p.m.

Bellingham is headed into Friday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their seventh straight game on Saturday. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 42-36 heartbreaker at the hands of La Conner.

Meanwhile, Meridian posted their closest win since December 17, 2024 on Wednesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 45-42 victory over Sedro-Woolley.

Bellingham's defeat dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Meridian, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season.

Bellingham came up short against Meridian in their previous meeting back in January of 2024, falling 32-26. Can Bellingham avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
