Softball Recap: Winter Park Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Winter Park and Timber Creek squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Winter Park had to settle for second. They took a 3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wolves. The Wildcats have struggled against the Wolves recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Winter Park saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Carrie Dulgar, who went 2-for-3 with one double.

Winter Park's defeat dropped their record down to 8-16. As for Timber Creek, they moved to 10-11 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Winter Park does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Timber Creek, they will face off against Hagerty at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Huskies will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Wolves surely won't give up without a fight.
