Basketball Game Preview: Hardin Hornets vs. Kirbyville Wildcats

The Hardin Hornets will face off against the Kirbyville Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Hardin and seven for Kirbyville.

Hardin is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against East Chambers on Tuesday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Hardin was dealt an 83-29 loss at the hands of East Chambers. The Hornets were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 41-16.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Kirbyville took on Kountze on Tuesday. Kirbyville was outmatched by Kountze and fell 88-13. The game marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Kirbyville's defeat dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Hardin, their loss dropped their record down to 1-8.
