Volleyball Recap: Cardozo Comes Up Short

Cardozo was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the MacArthur Mammoths. The Clerks were not able to make up for their loss to the Mammoths from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-7, 25-12.

Cardozo's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for MacArthur, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-2 record this season.

Cardozo wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Coolidge on the 7th. As for MacArthur, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Roosevelt on the 7th.
