Shadow Ridge extended their winning streak to four on Friday, bumping them up to 4-1. They took down the Mojave Rattlers 28-14. That's more bragging rights for the Mustangs, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

As for Mojave, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. The matchup marked their lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Despite the loss, Mojave had strong showings from RaJahn Butler, who rushed for 99 yards and one TD on only 11 carries, and S'Marion Coleman, who picked up 93 receiving yards and one score. Coleman really caught the secondary sleeping when he pulled down a catch that went for 75 yards.

Looking ahead, Shadow Ridge will head out to take on Citrus Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Mustangs will be up against the Blackhawks' rather soft defense (which has allowed 38.5 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Mojave, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Pinecrest Academy Cadence at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
