Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Southeast Career Tech). They took down the Pinecrest Academy Cadence Cougars 78-59 on Wednesday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Roadrunners considering their 23-point performance the matchup before.

Southeast Career Tech's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jaxson Grant led the charge by putting up 20 points. Grant is becoming a predictor of Southeast Career Tech's success: when he posts at least 15 points the team is undefeated (and 9-14 when he doesn't). Another player making a difference was Worthy Manumaleuna, who posted 12 points.

Despite the loss, Pinecrest Academy Cadence still got an impressive performance from Gebriel Quimoyog, who went 11-for-20 on his way to 32 points. The dominant performance also gave Quimoyog a new career-high in shooting accuracy (55%). Martinique Brown was another key player, earning five points and six assists.

Southeast Career Tech's record now sits at 12-14. As for Pinecrest Academy Cadence, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost 12 of their last 13 games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 5-23 record this season.
