Volleyball Recap: Wayne's Win on Wednesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Wayne had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Water Canyon Wildcats as they made off with a 3-0 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Badgers also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2022.

While Wayne won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-22, 25-19.

Among those leading the charge was Madilynn Jacobson, who had ten digs and five aces.

Jacobson wasn't the only good server: Wayne was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 11 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in November of 2024.

Wayne's record is now 3-1. As for Water Canyon, they dropped their record down to 2-2 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coming up, Wayne will welcome North Sevier at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Water Canyon, they will face off against El Capitan at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
