Football Recap: Campbell County Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Campbell County and Ballard squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Campbell County had to settle for second. The game between the Camels and the Bruins didn't end well, with the Camels falling 35-21. The Camels have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

When it comes to explaining why Campbell County lost, don't look at Trevor Bertram. Despite the final result, he rushed for 137 yards and two touchdowns on only 14 carries.

Campbell County's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Ballard, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-6.

Campbell County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Ballard, they will take on Ryle at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Bruins will need to watch out since the Raiders have now posted at least 31 points in their last six contests.
