West Carteret extended their home winning streak to six games dating back to last season thanks to a huge performance from Anna Claire Oakes. Everything went the Patriots' way against the Dixon Bulldogs on Tuesday as they made off with a 3-0 victory thanks in part to Oakes, who had 11 digs and three assists. She has been hot, having posted 11 or more digs the last five times she's played.

West Carteret walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). The final score came out to 25-15, 25-17, 25-21.

West Carteret's victory bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Dixon, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.

West Carteret didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 win against Swansboro on the 28th. As for Dixon, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-2 loss against Jacksonville on the 27th.
