Mia Villafranca put in work no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out eight batters over five innings while giving up just two earned (and eight unearned) runs off nine hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't pitched less than five innings in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-2 with a triple.
