Strawberry Crest waltzed into their game on Monday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They blew past the King Lions 10-3. The result was nothing new for the Chargers, who have now won five matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.

Dillon Knight made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he struck out eight batters over 3.2 innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off five hits (and not a single walk). He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one walk in four consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.

In other batting news, Brisen Tweedy was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Matt Hall was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.

Strawberry Crest was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .444. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .333 or higher in four consecutive contests.

Strawberry Crest's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-2. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 7.5 runs. As for King, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Strawberry Crest will head out to square off against Plant at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average, (Strawberry Crest 2.8, Plant 1) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for King, they are taking a road trip to take on Lennard at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
