Softball Recap: Portage Comes Up Short

Portage and Juniata Valley squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Portage had to settle for second. They came up short against the Hornets, falling 12-0. Considering the last time the Mustangs couldn't score was back in March, the team can't take the result too hard.

Portage is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-16. As for Juniata Valley, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-9-1 record this season.

As of now, neither Portage nor Juniata Valley have any future games scheduled.
