Basketball Recap: Orange Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Orange duked it out with Chagrin Falls on Thursday. The Orange Lions took a blow against the Chagrin Falls Tigers, falling 63-10. The Lions were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 43-8.

Leading Chagrin Falls to victory were Avery Russell and Lilly Stukus. Russell posted 22 points and six steals, while Stukus went 6 of 13 to rack up 19 points in addition to six boards and six steals. That's the most steals Stukus has posted since back in December of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Abby Kay, who scored six points and five steals.

Orange dropped their record down to 4-15 with the loss, which was their third straight at home. As for Chagrin Falls, their record is now 12-9.

Orange has already played their next match (against Harding), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Chagrin Falls, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 51-45 win against Kirtland on the 8th.
