Softball Recap: Northside - Pinetown Wins Going Away Against Southside

Northside - Pinetown won the last time they faced Southside and things went their way on Thursday too. Northside - Pinetown put the hurt on Southside with a sharp 15-3 win. Considering the Panthers have won three games by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Riley Hudson was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high. Kinsey White was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base.

Northside - Pinetown was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .500. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Southside only posted a batting average of .176.

Northside - Pinetown is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season. This is the second loss in a row for Southside and nudges their season record down to 4-3.

Northside - Pinetown didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 22-7 victory against Richmond on the 21st. As for Southside, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 7-1 defeat against North East Carolina Prep on the 24th.
