Volleyball Recap: Monroe County Takes a Loss

Monroe County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Excel Panthers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 two weeks ago.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-3, 25-15, 25-6.

Monroe County's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Excel, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-6.

Monroe County wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 loss against T.R. Miller on the 25th. As for Excel, they have also already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Flomaton on the 30th.
