Softball Recap: Central Bucks East Takes a Loss

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Central Bucks East's offense. They lost 8-0 to the North Penn Knights on Tuesday. That's two games in a row now that the Patriots have lost by exactly eight runs.

Central Bucks East got a good showing from Lyla Becker, who pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Becker has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive appearances.

Central Bucks East dropped their record down to 5-3 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home. As for North Penn, the win got them back to even at 3-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Central Bucks East will host Central Bucks West at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday. As for North Penn, they will take on Pennsbury at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
