Soccer Game Preview: South Caldwell vs. Watauga + How To Watch

South Caldwell is 0-10 against Watauga since February of 2021 but things could change on Wednesday. The Spartans are taking a road trip to face off against the Pioneers at 6:00 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

South Caldwell's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They skirted past McDowell 1-0. Anthony Carnevale had the honor of scoring the game-winner for South Caldwell.

Meanwhile, Watauga waltzed into their contest on Monday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They put the hurt on the Patriots with a sharp 8-0 win. Considering Watauga have won nine matchups by more than two goals this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Watauga's victory bumped their record up to 11-3-3. As for South Caldwell, the win was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 4-7-4.

South Caldwell suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Watauga when the teams last played two weeks ago. Can the Spartans avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
