Football Recap: Framingham Flyers vs. Newton North Tigers
Framingham won against Braintree last Friday with 29 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. The Flyers put the hurt on the Newton North Tigers with a sharp 29-7 victory. The Flyers not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since October 25, 2024 (when they won 46-7).
Nicholas Nascimento Duarte produced another solid effort rushing for 305 yards and three TDs while picking up 9.5 yards per carry. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 125 rushing yards.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Framingham was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 343 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.
