Volleyball Recap: Jayhawk Linn Takes a Loss

Jayhawk Linn was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the Jefferson County North Chargers.

The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Jefferson County North scored at least 18 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-21.

Jayhawk Linn's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Jefferson County North, the win keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.

Jefferson County North didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Oskaloosa on the 13th. Hopefully Jayhawk Linn paid attention to the Chargers' matchup: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Chargers at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
