Basketball Game Preview: Eustis Panthers vs. Ensworth Tigers

Eustis has won 12 straight games at home (dating back to last season), while Ensworth has won 12 straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Monday. The two teams will face off at 1:00 p.m. without much rest having both just played. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Eustis saw some tournament action on Sunday. They walked away with a 55-48 victory over Creekside.

Eustis got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Cornelius Hines out in front who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 11 boards. Hines has been hot, having also posted two or more blocks the last six times he's played. Another player making a difference was Lomar Sparrow, who posted 12 points and five assists.

While Ensworth didn't have the best season last year (they finished 12-19), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Northwestern 65-62.

Ensworth has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.2 points per game. As for Eustis, their win bumped their record up to 9-4.
