Baseball Recap: East Helena Comes Up Short in High-Profile Matchup with Butte Central Catholic

East Helena faced Butte Central Catholic in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Vigilantes fell just short of the Maroons by a score of 3-2. The Vigilantes were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Maroons earlier this season, when they won 9-0.

Boston Adams made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-3. Another player making a difference was Liam Priebe, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI.

East Helena's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Butte Central Catholic, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-5.
