Volleyball Recap: Hamilton Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Hamilton duked it out with Baldwyn on Friday. The Lions came up short against the Bearcats, falling 3-0.

Hamilton was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the third set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-21, 25-22.

Aubrei Weaver had a dynamite game For Baldwyn., getting six digs and two aces. The dominant performance also gave Weaver a new career-high in assists (25).

Hamilton's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 11-7. As for Baldwyn, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Hamilton will face off against rival New Site at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Baldwyn is set to challenge their familiar foe Hatley at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
