Football Recap: Glades Day's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past + How To Watch

It's playoff time, and Glades Day had no trouble coming through when it counted. They came out on top against the Boca Raton Christian Blazers by a score of 42-34 on Friday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Gators as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

Ramsey Rimes was a one-man wrecking crew as he rushed for 150 yards and one TD on only 15 carries. That's the most rushing yards he has posted since back in November of 2024.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Glades Day was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 311 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

Several Blazers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Joey Weber, who threw for 274 yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 49 yards and one score. Weber is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in each of the last 12 games he's played dating back to last season. Boca Raton Christian's leading receiver Christian Anderson was Weber's top target yet again, picking up 131 receiving yards and a pair of TDs.

Glades Day's record now sits at 3-8. As for Boca Raton Christian, they dropped their record down to 4-5 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Coming up, Glades Day will be playing at home against Canterbury at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Boca Raton Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
