Northwestern Area came tearing into Friday's contest with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 21.8 points), and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Hitchcock-Tulare Patriots by a score of 74-63. This was payback for the Wildcats, who suffered a 66-57 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Northwestern Area's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-11.
