Volleyball Recap: Shylee Keele Leads a Balanced Effort to Beat Water Canyon

Panguitch won the last time they faced Water Canyon and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Bobcats were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Wildcats. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bobcats.

The match finished with set scores of 25-7, 25-14, 25-16.

Panguitch's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Shylee Keele, who had ten digs and three aces. Keele has been hot for a while, having also posted 13 or more assists the last nine times she's played. Another player making a difference was Brooklyn Harland, who had nine digs and two aces.

They weren't the only good servers: Panguitch was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 14 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in 17 consecutive matchups.

Panguitch's victory bumped their record up to 15-3. As for Water Canyon, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-8.
