Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask St. Maries). Everything went their way against the Grangeville Bulldogs on Saturday as the St. Maries Lumberjacks made off with a 64-40 win. The score was close at the half, but the Lumberjacks pulled away in the second half with 44 points.

The victory snapped St. Maries' losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 3-3 record. As for Grangeville, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

St. Maries will take on Kootenai in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. St. Maries is facing Kootenai at the right time seeing as Kootenai is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Grangeville, they will head out to take on Nezperce at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
