After a string of five wins, Corona's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They came up short against the King Wolves, falling 16-6. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Panthers of the 17-2 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Corona's defeat dropped their record down to 11-5. As for King, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-8-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Corona will welcome Santiago at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The last three games the Sharks have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for King, they will host Norco at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Cougars' pitching crew has only allowed 1.3 runs per game this season, so the Wolves' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
