University has gone 9-1 against Seminole recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. University will look to defend their home field against Seminole at 4:00 p.m. University is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.1 runs per game this season.
University was handed a heart-breaking two-run loss in their last game, but they sure didn't let that happen against Flagler Palm Coast two weeks ago. University never let Flagler Palm Coast get on the board and left with a 14-0 win. The Titans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three matches by eight runs or more this season.
University got a massive performance out of Mia Fisher, who scored three runs while going 3-for-3. Another player making a difference was Jacquelyn Lara, who scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances.
University was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .469. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Meanwhile, Seminole didn't have quite enough to beat Melbourne Central Catholic on Monday and fell 8-7. The Seminoles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Mary Long made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs while going 2-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Liana Neal, who went 2-for-3 with one triple and one run.
Seminole's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for University, their victory bumped their record up to 6-4.
University was able to grind out a solid win over Seminole in their previous matchup back in March of 2024, winning 8-4. Does University have another victory up their sleeve, or will Seminole turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
