With a playoff win on the line, Millington Central rose to the challenge on Monday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Ridgeway Roadrunners 69-38. The Trojans' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Millington Central's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Ja'Kilah Johnson led the charge by putting up 19 points. The dominant performance gave Johnson a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Arianna Whiten, who posted 14 points.

Millington Central is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-11 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.7 points over those games. Ridgeway's loss dropped their record down to 10-9.
