Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Waterloo). They claimed a resounding 83-45 victory over the Penn Yan Academy Mustangs. Given the Tigers' advantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 71st, while the Mustangs are ranked 205th), the result on Friday wasn't entirely unexpected.

Waterloo has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season. As for Penn Yan Academy, they now have a losing record at 3-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Waterloo will venture away from home to face off against Mynderse Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Penn Yan Academy, they will head out on the road to challenge Bloomfield at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Bloomfield will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Penn Yan Academy surely won't give up without a fight.
