Basketball Game Preview: Nimitz Vikings vs. Wilson Wildcats + How To Watch

The Nimitz Vikings are taking a road trip to face off against the Wilson Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Nimitz managed to slip by Skyline the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Vikings were dealt a 56-21 defeat at the hands of the Raiders on Tuesday. Having soared to a lofty 66 points in the game before, the Vikings couldn't push the score so high this time.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Wilson). They simply couldn't be stopped on Saturday as they easily beat Greenville 77-30. The Wildcats pushed the score to 64-23 by the end of the third, a deficit the Lions had no chance of recovering from.

Wilson is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.3 points on average over those games. As for Nimitz, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-5.

Nimitz couldn't quite finish off Wilson in their previous meeting back in December of 2024 and fell 29-26. Can the Vikings avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
