Eads put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They never let the McClave Cardinals get on the board and left with a 2-0 victory. That's two games straight that the Eagles have won by exactly two runs.

Eads' win was truly a team effort as three different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Shaine Winder, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one RBI.

Eads' victory was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 14-0. As for McClave, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-6.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Eads beat the Cardinals by a score of 11-2 later that day.
