Volleyball Game Preview: Manhattan Indians vs. Blue Valley West Jaguars + How To Watch

Manhattan hasn't had much luck against Blue Valley West recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Indians will head out on the road to square off against the Jaguars at 6:00 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Manhattan is headed into the contest having just posted their closest victory since September 27th on Saturday. They had just enough and edged out Emporia 2-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Indians.

Meanwhile, Blue Valley West faced Saint Thomas Aquinas in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Jaguars came out on top against the Saints by a score of 2-0.

Blue Valley West easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-13.

Manhattan's win bumped their record up to 19-6. As for Blue Valley West, their victory bumped their record up to 20-2.

Manhattan couldn't quite get it done against Blue Valley West when the teams last played back in November of 2024 as they fell 2-0. Can the Indians avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
