Basketball Recap: Madison Borjas Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Rowe

McAllen Memorial won the last time they faced Rowe and things went their way on Friday too. The McAllen Memorial Mustangs skirted past the Rowe Warriors 50-48. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Mustangs have posted since December 6, 2024.

McAllen Memorial's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Madison Borjas led the charge by going 6 of 15 on her way to 19 points and five steals. Borjas has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Karly Bazan, who posted seven points and ten rebounds.
