Sierra has gone 9-1 against Liberty recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Sierra Chieftains will look to defend their home court against the Liberty Hawks at 6:30 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Liberty will be up against a hot Sierra team: the squad just extended their winning streak to three. Sierra claimed a resounding 72-34 win over Caruthers.

Meanwhile, you're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter, and that's exactly how it played out for Liberty on Friday. Everything went their way against Fowler as Liberty made off with a 79-54 victory. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 34-14.

Sierra better focus on containing Mauro Farinelli and Titus Johnson as the pair were huge in Liberty's win. Farinelli went 10 for 13 to rack up 21 points and eight rebounds, while Johnson dropped a double-double on 21 points and 11 boards. Johnson has become a key player for Liberty: the team is 7-2 when he posts at least eight boards, but 7-10 otherwise. Shane Williams was another key player, putting up seven points and five assists.

Liberty was working as a unit and finished the game with 16 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in December of 2024.

Liberty is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten matches, which provided a massive bump to their 14-12 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.8 points over those games. As for Sierra, their win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 19-7.

Sierra took their victory against Liberty when the teams last played back in February of 2024 by a conclusive 74-48. Does Sierra have another victory up their sleeve, or will Liberty turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
