Softball Recap: Hope Christian Has No Trouble Against Del Norte

The home team had come away the winner the last four times Hope Christian and Del Norte had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Huskies put the hurt on the Knights with a sharp 14-7 win on Friday. The result was nothing new for the Huskies, who have now won 11 contests by six runs or more so far this season.

The team relied heavily on Brooklyn Quanz, who went 2-for-5 with two runs, two RBI, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Ella McFadden, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Hope Christian kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They are 10-2 when they post 11 or more hits.

Hope Christian's record now sits at 14-10. As for Del Norte, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-23.

As of now, neither Hope Christian nor the Knights have any future games scheduled.
