Baseball Recap: Springfield Gardens Sets Scoring Season-High Against Hillcrest

Springfield Gardens was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took an 8-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hillcrest Hawks. On the bright side, the five- run performance marked the Golden Eagles' highest-scoring game to date.

Springfield Gardens' loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Hillcrest, their win bumped their record up to 2-3.

Looking ahead, Springfield Gardens will take on Metropolitan at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Hillcrest, they will challenge Aviation at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
