Basketball Recap: Suring's Losing Streak Snapped at Seven Games

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Crivitz, Suring was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 55-52 win over the Oneida Nation Thunderhawks. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Eagles as it put an end to their seven-game losing streak.

Suring's win bumped their record up to 3-9. As for Oneida Nation, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-11.

Suring will square off against Lena at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Lena knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matchups -- so hopefully Suring likes a good challenge. As for Oneida Nation, they will face off against Gillett at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
