Football Recap: Westwood Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Westwood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were dealt a 50-8 loss at the hands of the Menominee Maroons. While losing is never fun, the Patriots can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan football rankings (they are ranked 379th, while the Maroons are ranked 91st).

Westwood's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Menominee, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Coming up, Westwood will welcome Houghton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Menominee, they will face off against Calumet at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Maroons will need to watch out since the Copper Kings have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.
