Baseball Recap: Carter Takes a Loss

Carter lost to Riverside Prep back in March of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Lions lost 25-1 to the Silver Knights.

Carter saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jesus Enriquez, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run.

Carter's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Riverside Prep, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Carter will be taking part in a tournament against Calvary Chapel at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Riverside Prep, they will take on Ontario Christian in a tournament on Wednesday. The Knights' pitching crew has only allowed 3.5 runs per game this season, so the Silver Knights' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
