Basketball Recap: West Carroll Comes Up Short

West Carroll was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They were beaten by the Galena Pirates 73-21. The Thunder were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 41-9.

West Carroll's defeat dropped their record down to 6-19. As for Galena, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 16-9.

West Carroll will head out to challenge Christian Life at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Galena, they will head out on the road to face off against Lutheran at 6:45 p.m. on Monday.
