Soccer Game Preview: Gulf vs. Nature Coast Tech + How To Watch

The Gulf Buccaneers will challenge the Nature Coast Tech Sharks at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Gulf has given up an average of 3.4 goals per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Gulf is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to six goals last Tuesday, they were much more limited against Bishop McLaughlin Catholic last Thursday. They lost 6-0 to the Hurricanes. Gulf have struggled against Bishop McLaughlin Catholic recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Nature Coast Tech strolled into their game last Thursday with an undefeated record and they left with the same. They came out on top against Crystal River by a score of 3-1. Nature Coast Tech found success even though the refs didn't miss a thing: Tanner Bennett and Isaiah Martinez were both handed yellow cards.

Nature Coast Tech hit Crystal River with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Logan Carey, Bennett, and Martinez.

Gulf's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2-1. As for Nature Coast Tech, their win bumped their record up to 5-0-1.

Gulf might still be hurting after the 8-0 loss they got from Nature Coast Tech in their previous matchup back in November of 2022. Can the Buccaneers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
